Solution #1DX is a mild solvent-based fluid for general recovery of Epson DX4/DX5 solvent print heads. It is best suited for light recovery of deflected nozzles. In some cases it can clean even completely clogged nozzles. This fluid is safe to leave for a long time inside the print heads. Recovery of solvent Epson print heads should start and end with fluid #1DX. Do not leave any fluid other than 1DX inside a print head for more than 1 hour. When recovering water-based Epson heads, use the distilled de-ionized water instead of 1DX.
